- Institution decides to offer an internship; creates Host account/profile and submits application / posting online.
- Candidate creates profile; completes application and uploads resume online
- Eligibility is confirmed; postings are compiled and posted online.
- Potential candidates review positions and submit preferences online.
- Host receives applications and resumes online.
- Host screens and interviews candidates in the timeframe allotted (generally by phone).
- Host makes initial offers (following timeline given).
- Candidate accepts or declines offer(s).
- Host and candidate confirms with internships coordinator if Round 1 match was made.
- Hosts and Candidates with no match in Round 1 notify coordinator of desire to move to Round 2; hosts receive new candidate listings.
- Interviews are conducted and offers made as needed.
- Hosts and candidates confirm final matches.
- Agreement letters / contracts are completed between host and interns.
