NODA Internship Timeline
Applications: Host Institutions
October 15, 2009 - Hosts have access to site to create profile and complete host application online
November 30, 2009 - Deadline to submit an application to host an intern*
*to be considered an eligible Internship Host, at least one active membership must be maintained at institution for the entire duration of the internship process, including selection.
Applications: Candidates
October 15, 2009 - Candidates can create profiles and online application
December 7, 2009 - Position descriptions / postings available online*
January 11, 2010 - Deadline for candidate applications to be complete and submitted online**
* candidates must complete online form identifying Round 1 preferences AFTER postings are online.
** to be considered COMPLETE, candidate applications include the online application, an uploaded resume and Round 1 preferences.
Round One
January 13, 2010 - Applications available to Host Institutions online.*
January 14 to February 19, 2010 - Host institutions schedule and conduct interviews
February 10, Noon, EST, 2010 (no earlier) - Hosts can offer to candidates, no earlier than Noon, EST**
February 24, 2010 (no later) - Hosts and candidates report Round One status: any matches made or desire to participate in Round Two no later than this date.
* Host will be able to login to unique Internship pages to pick up application files of those candidates who have chosen that site to which to apply in Round 1.
** Offers cannot be made prior to this date; date corresponds to ACUHO-I process and others; Candidates must be offered at least 24 hours to respond.
Round Two
March 1, 2010 - Candidates and Hosts receive Round 2 information; Hosts schedule and conduct interviews as needed
March 2 – 30, 2010 - Offers may be made as needed; Hosts and Candidates confirm as matches are made.
Final Confirmation of all internships
April 5, 2010
